Thermal water from the Dolomites "Aqua Bad Cortina"
The first official documents mentioning the source Aqua Bad Cortina date back to 1741.
The spring springs at 1,240 m in the middle of the forest, not far from the village of San Vigilio at a temperature of 6.5 °C and is officially recognised in South Tyrol as mineral water. It is a sulphate-calcic-magnesium thermal water, microbiologically pure and has been recognized in 2019 by the Ministry of Health for balneofangotherapy.
Pleasant to the palate, slightly salty, it is described as sulphate, fluorate, calcium, with iodine and traces of boron, barium, bromine and lithium. The recognition of the Ministry has demonstrated the great value of this water both for hydropinic treatment (to drink it) and for bathing, especially recommended for rheumatic disorders, skin care and total relaxation of the sedentary body.
You can drink this water and take a hot bath directly at the Aqua Bad Cortina - hotel & thermal baths.
