The Dolomiti Rangers, within the nature park of Fanes Senes and Braies, are playful characters enacted by children from 7 to 12 years of age who sign up at the visitor center in the San Vigilio nature park. Accompanied by their parents and with the help of an expert guide, they go into the nature park to explore themes about nature with a training module of their choice (morning, afternoon or evening) and to learn the rules of behavior to protect a nature park.
Diligent participation in at least two modules awards them the “Dolomiti Ranger” diploma.
The experience, that takes place 2 days at week with a set time for each module, is useful and enjoyable for all the family and can be repeated in other South Tyrolean nature parks.
