My name is Verginer Rosmarie – but many people simply know me as Rosi.
I discovered my passion for baking early on and began my journey at pastry school. I then had the opportunity to gain valuable experience at the Mutschlechner pastry shop in St. Vigil, and later worked for several years as a cook in the local elementary and middle school cafeteria.
But my heart was always set on a very special dream: having my own pastry shop.
In 2016, that dream became a reality – and ever since, I’ve been running Pasticceria Rosi with great joy and dedication.
My cakes are not designer showpieces – for me, quality is what truly matters.
In addition to cakes of all kinds, you’ll also find strudels, traditional wreath cakes, and even a very special Schüttelbrot – all lovingly handmade.
I’m happy to share my passion with you – and who knows, maybe your new favorite cake is already waiting here for you!
Warmest regards,
Rosi
Pasticceria Rosi is a take-away pastry shop full of heart and traditional craftsmanship.
You can place your cake orders easily by phone or stop by my bakery in person.
For guests staying in St. Vigil or nearby, I also offer home delivery upon request.
My bakery is located right along the promenade leading to the Pinei and Torpei farms, also known as “A Soredl.”
If you're out for a walk there, feel free to drop by – I always have a few sweet treats ready to take away, perfect for a quick snack or as a small gift.
In front of the pastry shop, you'll also find benches and tables where you can relax and enjoy a piece of strudel (with shortcrust or puff pastry), a slice of Linzer torte, Sachertorte, or other fine desserts – all in a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.
See you soon – I look forward to your visit!

The “Püces Seces” – also known by the German name Schüttelbrot – were something I originally baked just for personal use.
But once a few customers got a taste, demand grew so much that I decided to add them to my product range.
What makes my Schüttelbrot different from traditional South Tyrolean Schüttelbrot?
It’s especially thin and aromatic, making it easier to chew and gentle on the teeth – without sacrificing any flavor.
An ideal companion to speck, cheese, and cold cuts.
