MY STORY

Who am I?

I gained my first experience as a chef on a farm in Longiarü/Campill.
I attended the Kaiserhof Hotel Management School in Merano and continued my career in various locations in  Val Badia until I finally became head chef at a restaurant in Caldaro and San Vigilio. In 2023, I opened my restaurant Ciasadafüch da Renè in my home town of Longiarü/Campill, a mountaineering village in the heart of the Dolomites.

Our cosy restaurant is located in the heart of Longiarü, a charming mountain village in Val Badia, surrounded by the breathtaking nature of the Dolomites.

You can easily reach us via St. Martin in Thurn – just follow the signs to Longiarü until you reach the Ciasa Linda holiday home.

TUTRES And CAJENCI ARESTIS

Discover the taste of Ladin tradition with our handmade tutres and cajenci, prepared according to old farmhouse recipes. Each variety is filled with a delicate mix of fresh spinach and creamy quark, but the dough makes all the difference:

  • Tutres: a hearty dough made from rye and wheat flour, eggs, and milk.

  • Cajenci: a light, yeasted dough made from potatoes, wheat flour, milk, and eggs.

Available by reservation, we prepare the "tutres" and "cajenci" fresh daily – a traditional culinary experience not to be missed.

Our homemade apple strudel with pine nuts is a very popular treat – perfect as a mement of Longiarù or as a gift for family and friends.
