Our little “Lüch dl Jëinder” is a heritage farmhouse. The property includes 3 ha each of fields, forest and pasture. The farmhouse belongs to the Frenner family since generations and used to be called “Schande zu Wiok”.
Barley used to be the main grain to be grown on the families fields. It was mainly used to produce flour and for the bread dough, which was then cooked in the wood fire oven. Nowadays, farmwork and cutting and working hay are still the priority.
When you will visit us, you will be greeted by our cows, chickens, ponies, cats and Haiko, our dog. During the spring and fall months, we are often lucky to admire the local deers and roes passing by.
In 2019/20 we have renovated the old property in order to create a more comfortable space for our guests. We used most of the original property wood to build the new apartments.
The beds in the flats are made with the walls of the original farmhouse walls. We have put value on the recycled materials, they are part of our family and tradition.
