The summit of Col Bechei can be reached from the Limo Joch. It is one of the few mountains in the Fanes Alm where you can spot ibex.
The summit of Col Bechei (2793 m) looks different from every angle. On the way to the Fanesalm, starting from the Pederü hut, it accompanies us on the left side throughout the entire route. When viewed from the Klein-Fanesalm, it looks like a sleeping volcano. When viewed from the Gran-Fanesalm, it almost looks like the head of a whale. No matter how you look at it, it is one of the most beautiful mountains of the Fanesalm. From its summit, you can see the Tofana di Mezzo, which rises like a pyramid from the ground. You can also see the Seekofel on the Senesalm. At the top, you look down on Lake Piciodel at the foot of the mountain. On the ascent to the summit, the Limo Lake greets you with its bright blue tones. If you are lucky, you can also observe ibex grazing or resting on the nearby cliffs.
