Ski area Plan de Corones- Kronplatz

First class winter experience

Words do not suffice to describe the most famous, largest ski area in all of South Tyrol, the Plan de Corones. With its three main access points from Brunico Riscone, Valdaora and San Vigilio di Marebbe, with the addition of the train station in Perca a few years ago, the mountain that is divided between Val Pusteria and Marebbano is the undisputed kingdom of skiing and all related disciplines, from freeride to snowboarding to free style. In addition to over 1000 acres of mountain dedicated to ski slopes, ski cannons that guarantee skiable conditions from the start of the season to the very end, the easy connection to Alta Pusteria, from cable car to cable car, to Alta Badia and Sella Ronda, with the skibus, makes it the number 1 ski center, widely recognized throughout South Tyrol and probably the whole of the Alps. Unique 360° views, wide-ranging and high-level gastronomy for moments of down-time, excellent training and the most modern technology for transport and comfort of service for skiers as well as opportunities for daily entertainment throughout the season, make it the ideal location for a holiday and for many snow-filled weekends.

Everything for skiing

Skiing paradise in the Dolomites

As well as the ski lifts of the Alta Badia, directly linked to the skibus, and the cable cars in San Vigilio and San Martino, a few minutes away from the two Ladin centers, you will find other ski resorts, with different features and also linked by public transport. From the train station in Brunico or Perca, you can get the train directly to the ski lifts at Alta Pusteria and Monte Elmo while, in a northern direction, in Val di Tures and Aurina, you will find respectively the ski lifts of Monte Spico in Campo Tures and Monte Chiusetta in Cadipietra. Finally, from Rio di Pusteria, you can get to the ski lifts in Maranza and Valles.
